Who can attend Camp KidSummit?

Kids who completed Kindergarten through 5th grade during the 2021-2022 school year are invited to attend Camp KidSummit!

Is Camp KidSummit only for families who attend The Summit Church?

NO! Camp KidSummit is for all families in the Triad area! Everyone is invited! Bring your friends.

Why should I register in advance?

Activities fill up fast! Families are strongly encouraged to register early in order to ensure that your campers can participate in their preferred activities. Early registration also facilitates early check-in, which means your campers will have everything they need for a fun camp experience before they arrive!

What is “Early Check-in”?

Campers and volunteers who register early and want to check-in prior to the start of camp will receive their camp t-shirt and their registration pack in advance of the start of Camp KidSummit.

What is the cost for attending Camp KidSummit?

The registration and activity fee for Camp KidSummit is $30 per camper. That fee covers all activities and supplies associated with attendance at Camp KidSummit, as well as a brightly-colored Camp KidSummit t-shirt! The cost shrinks to $20 per camper when one or more parents are volunteering at camp. Sponsorships are also available. Contact a CKS registration coordinator for more information.

What about childcare for Volunteer kids?

Free childcare will be provided for children of volunteers at Camp KidSummit who aren’t old enough to attend or serve at camp. Our Peak environment is fully equipped to handle babies through pre-K with lots of fun and educational activities.

Will there be food at Camp KidSummit?

YES! Each day, the campers will receive a dinner snack during the time between their Track 1 and Track 2 activity sessions. There will be special snacks for campers with food allergies, and safe handling procedures will be used to ensure that everyone stays healthy.

What time does Camp KidSummit start and end?

On-site check-in opens at 5:30PM each day. Camp activities will begin at 6PM, so be sure to arrive on-time! Parent pick-up is at 8:30PM.

There will be an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and a Police officer on-site during all camp activities, as well as a volunteer safety and first-aid team whose goal is to keep kids happy, healthy, and safe during camp.

Does my child need to bring or wear anything special to Camp KidSummit?

Campers will need to wear their Camp KidSummit t-shirt each day. Everyone is strongly encouraged to register early and participate in our early check-in option so that your camper will receive their t-shirt prior to the start of camp.
